We’ve been back in Finland for a week and a bit now, and I can’t tell you how brilliant the summer is here. It’s warm but not too hot, quiet and peaceful, plus there’s tons of empty space around us. In a word, it feels like home, especially when I look at it from the pier of a summer cabin. What’s more, my bike is waiting for me in Oulu, and it seems like we’ll have a place of our own to stay in for the while. I’ll like it here.
Even though I plan to spend the summer here, I’m still keeping an eye out for job opportunities elsewhere. So far it seems that there are some in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Maldives, Thailand and Australia, just to name a few. There’s not so many things happening right now, so I don’t expect to blog very frequently during the next couple of months. I do hope to cause mayhem with a chainsaw instead.
